languages add value to the leisure industry, leisure industry week, expand your leisure industry business, leisure industry translationWith the lovely hot weather we’ve been experiencing recently, it is definitely the right time to bring yourself up to date with the latest trends in the leisure industry.

The leisure industry week is the UK’s leading exhibition for the leisure industry. It was founded in 1989 and in this year’s trade show Wolfestone will be there.

The trade show takes place over 3 days in September at the Birmingham NEC and covers six leisure sectors:

Play and Attractions, Health and Fitness, Pool and Spa, Eat and Drink and Leisure Facilities and Sport.

According to Local Government Executive (Excel Publishing Company) the leisure industry week’s current market value is approximately £3.77 billion, this has increased by 3 % on the previous 12 months.  The global leisure market generated nearly $2.3 million (£1.5 million) in 2010. The industry is expected to record an annual growth of over 4% through 2015 to reach almost $2.8 trillion (£1.9 trillion).

The leisure industry is emerging from a tough period, but continues to face challenges with public spending cuts and inflation maintaining the pressure on the labour market and consumer disposable income.
