Our History
Wolfestone Translation is a UK company founded in 2006 by two entrepreneurs, one from Wales and one from Poland. Their intention was, and still is, to provide more than the average translation company, to raise the standards of the language services industry, to be innovative in the way they address all issues and ethical in dealing with all.
The result is a language services company with a friendly, personal service, a speedy, efficient turnaround, exceptional quality and with a strong Corporate Social Responsibility ethic throughout the company.
The company has won or been a finalist in over 20 business awards over the last 3 years!
Wolfestone has seen turnover more than double year on year. Wolfestone soon expanded their offerings to a full range of language services including interpreting, voiceovers, subtitling, proofreading, transcription, multi-lingual DTP, etc.
Wolfestone Translation Ltd. is a member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC), the European Union of Associations of Translation Companies (EUATC), a member of Translation for Business Wales, and a member of the American Translators Association. ATC members must carry professional indemnity insurance cover and adhere to an agreed Code of Professional Conduct, which has now become the profession's standard. Our ATC membership number is W07 and Wolfestone Translation sit on the National Council of the organisation as Chair.
The quality management system utilised by Wolfestone Translation Ltd. is designed to ensure that the client receives the highest quality, accurate, culturally aware and professional translation each and every time. We are continually working towards improving documented procedures for quality assurance in all aspects of our activities. As such Wolfestone Translation Ltd. is independently UKAS certified to BS EN 15038:2006 (the European standard setting out the requirements for the provision of quality services by translation service providers) and independently UKAS certified to ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management Standard).
We are also independently UKAS certified to ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management Standard).

This procedure guarantees your data and documents are never lost. We also provide our clients with secure access to their own dedicated client area ‘PartnerZone’ where they can upload and download files, message us, track projects, track invoices, etc
