Anna Bastek outside Wolfestone HQ After winning multiple awards herself, Anna Bastek has been selected as a judge for the Entrepreneur Wales Awards 2016. Polish-born entrepreneur Anna Bastek arrived in the UK in 2004. All she had with her was a suitcase and a master’s degree. Bastek, who is not afraid of a challenge, used her resourcefulness and skills to build up a selection of award-winning companies, including the internationally renowned translation company Wolfestone, which is celebrating its 10th year in business this September. Anna knows what award judges are looking for as she holds an abundance of awards under her belt — including the UK Entrepreneur of the year, UK Director of the Year, Welsh Director of the Year and Woman of the Year, to name a few. Anna Bastek says about the EWA event: 'I’m very excited to be involved in judging the awards. It’s important to recognise the hard work and commitment of entrepreneurs in Wales.' The Entrepreneur Wales Awards 2016 is produced by the organisers of the highly-successful Great British Entrepreneur Awards and the publishers of Fresh Business Thinking. The aim of the Entrepreneur Wales Awards is to acknowledge, compliment and bolster the hard work and inspiring stories of Welsh entrepreneurs and businesses. There are a variety of categories to show appreciation of all businesses; ranging from social enterprises to fashion, from young entrepreneur of the year to the eco-entrepreneur of the year. From there, the winners will be decided by the 30 judges and announced at an award ceremony on Wednesday, 9thNovember 2016.
