Wolfestone Nominated for Three Prestigious Awards

The last month has been a huge success at Wolfestone. Wolfestone have been nominated for three prestigious national awards. CEO Anna Bastek, in between training for and completing the Ironman triathlon, has been nominated for ‘Female Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the South Wales Business Awards. Anna gratefully took the nomination, adding that ‘being appreciated for all your hard work is always a nice reminder that what you are doing is paying off.’ She continued, that she started with nothing in the UK but a suitcase and her degree. Now Anna owns and operates several companies in the South Wales area. Further than that, she began a physical transformation by becoming health-orientated and went from a Couch Potato to Ironman triathlete within a year. ‘I never took no or failure as the end’, said Anna Bastek. ‘By accepting that no or failure, you are not achieving your full potential. My favourite quote still comes from my father and is to “Never be average” and I carry that mantra with me every single day.’ Anna Bastek outside Wolfestone HQ Wolfestone continues its award success with two further nominations from the Association of Translation Companies (ATC), the leading voice for companies operating in the UK’s expanding language service industry. Magdalena Ciesliczka has been nominated for an incredibly well deserved ‘Project Manager of the Year’ accolade. Magdalena has shown that she truly is a brilliant worker, winning ‘Wolfestone’s Employee of the Year’ in 2015. On her award nomination, Magdalena Ciesliczka said: ‘After being appreciated internally last year for my work, it is even more touching to be nominated for such an award externally. Knowing that my team and directors believe I deserve to be entered into this award and then succeeding in a nomination is truly an honour I’ll never forget. I will always carry it with me as a mark of appreciation for the contributions myself and my team and I have made to the industry as well as the company.’ Wolfestone’s final award nomination is for Olly Dugdale as ‘Sales Person of the Year’. Olly started with Wolfestone as an account manager. His demeanour, friendliness and ease to talk to made him a favourite with all of Wolfestone's clients. From there, Olly was promoted to a Business Development Manager, where his job was to create and nurture brand new clients. Olly excelled even more so in this role. It was a given that Wolfestone's Management Team would put Olly forward for the ATC award, but Olly remains as humble as always: ‘I could not have done this without the support of everyone around me. Not only my team and manager but my colleagues who I have the good fortune of calling my friends.’ The South Wales Business Awards take place Friday the 9th of September 2016 at the Bear Hotel in Cowbridge. The ATC awards take place as part of the 40th anniversary ATC conference gala dinner on 22nd September 2016 at the QEII Conference Centre in London. Good luck to Wolfestone!
