Wolfestone Nominated for Two South Wales Business Awards

June 12, 2017 Wolfestone is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards at the 2017 South Wales Business Awards: Business Services Business of the Year and Business of the Decade. Roy Allkin, co-director of Wolfestone, said of the nomination: “Being announced as finalists for these two awards is a wonderful achievement for Wolfestone. As a company, we have grown rapidly and consistently over the past decade, but one thing has always been priority: Wolfestones commitment to excellent customer service.

Wolfestones Continued Growth

The Business Services Business of the Year award recognises companies based in South Wales that offer superior quality and customer service. Since its inception in 2006, Wolfestone has worked tirelessly to expand, develop and perfect both the services it can offer customers and the customer service experience. Within the last 12 months alone, Wolfestone has expanded its operating hours from 8 to 17, employed a network of remote Business Development Managers to better service their clients across the United Kingdom and launched a 24-hour, fully automated portal service for clients requiring personal document and certificate translation. Alex Parr, Managing Director commented: “As a company, we are working incredibly hard to ensure we can meet the diverse and sometimes complicated needs of all our clients. Given the nature of the translation industry, were conscious that we need to stay ahead of the curve in terms of technology and we need to remain flexible in servicing customers from across the globe if were to continue to grow. The development of Wolfestone’s services has seen the company establish itself as the largest translation provider in Wales and the fifth fastest growing translation company in the UK overall.

Business of the Decade

Having won the Business Service Business of the Year award in 2009, Wolfestone qualified, and was shortlisted for, the Business of the Decade award. Roy and Anna award winners 2009 Roy Allkin said of the nomination: Its a tremendous honour to have been shortlisted for this award. As a company, were always looking to the future, how we can continue to improve and grow, but its also great to look back at what we have achieved so far.” He continues: Its been a huge task and taken a lot of hard work from all members of staff to build Wolfestone into the award-winning international company it has become, so it would be a fantastic achievement for all our staff if we can bring home this award. The award winners will be announced on Wednesday 14th June 2017 at the Bear Hotel, Cowbridge. Wolfestone would like to offer its congratulations to all other companies nominated, particularly so for its sister company VoiceBox who is also nominated in the Business Services Business of the Year category.
