September 22, 2017 On Tuesday, 12th September, Wolfestone’s MD Alex Parr was part of a panel of experts and business people who shared their experiences of trading in new overseas markets with an engaged audience. Ms Parr was joined by Ross Weir of HJ Weir Engineering, Chris Meadows of IQE, Nigel Payne, honorary consul for Slovakia in Wales and Wedad Kurukgy of UK Export Finance. The trade breakfast was held at the office of Eversheds Sutherland, 1 Callaghan Square, Cardiff.

Thorough Planning is Key

Export containersWolfestone’s MD Alex Parr explained to the listener’s in the audience that thorough planning is the key to export success as it allows businesses to enter new markets quickly. To underline her point, she shared Wolfestone’s previous experience of targeting the US market with the help of the UK Government. Ms Parr summarises the breakfast event: “The turn out for the international trade breakfast was great. I would like to thank Eversheds for the great venue and the hearty breakfast, definitely worth the 5:30am start!
