Intro: Wolfestone was engaged to work with international security solutions group G4S.
Business Objective: G4S, the world’s biggest security company, was tendering for a major contract in France to supply GPS-based security solutions to the French Government.
What we did: The tender documents were translated first from French into English, so G4S could get a grip on the details of the tender. Once G4S had written their tender application, Wolfestone worked the copy so it carried the same message and tone into French.
Because of the highly precise nature of the tender documentation, Wolfestone brought together a linguistic team with extensive experience in the security field. Working in partnership with G4S, Wolfestone developed a tender translation that communicated the facts accurately, and carried the spirit of the document. The project managers co-ordinated Wolfestone’s global resources to ensure total quality and the accuracy of the translation, to deadline.
By bringing together the best people, processes and technology, Wolfestone enabled the client to communicate their market leading position.
G4S said “Clear, accurate translation into the local language was essential for the submission of this tender, and a key part of the customer’s evaluation. Results: The outcome of the tender process secured G4S a multi-million pound contract with the French Government, something that might not have been possible without the quality services Wolfestone offered.
