Centres of Excellence
Wolfestone is partnered with 3 Centres for Excellence in South Wales. Senior staff from Wolfestone regularly lecture at the Universities on the business, project management and entrepreneurial skills that graduates will need when they leave university and enter the commercial world. We are also heavily involved, and a founder partner, in an innovative project at Swansea University whereby students set up their own mock translation companies and run them as businesses. Wolfestone provide mentoring and shadowing for the key ‘company’ staff and act as mock clients. This gives the students an insight into real world scenarios and Wolfestone try and keep these as realistic as possible.
Wolfestone also have a highly developed Internship Programme which offers work tasters, work placements and full internships to students and post graduates from all over the world in areas including translation, marketing, accounts, project management, etc. These are often organised by the Erasmus or Leonardo da Vinci schemes.
Moreover, Wolfestone have been highly active in promoting continuous professional development for our staff and have encouraged the attainment of qualifications through the ILM, CIM, City and Guilds, CMI, etc.
