Wolfestone provide professional transcriptions of audio and video files through our transcribing service. We can transcribe any type of file such as CD, DVD, video cassette, tape, MP3, MP4, AVI, mpeg or wav. Transcriptions are charged on a per minute basis of audio recording. Our team of skilled and experienced foreign language transcription professionals has expertise in verious fields, including legal, medical, marketing, business, educational, corporate videos, etc.

On average it takes our transcribers 4 to 6 hours to transcribe one hour of audio, because they need to ensure that all terms are accurate and that the right sentences are attributed to the correct people.

As well as providing a transcript of your files, we can also translate them into over 100 languages.

We can also provide you with a multilingual professional voiceover if required. Your voice-over is recorded in our specially built in-house recording studio.

Transcribing can be very time consuming, after all we do generally speak faster than anyone can type. For this reason getting the spoken word onto paper can take up to four hours for every hour of recording. Factors such as background noise, number of speakers and sound quality can all make a difference to the quality of the recording and the time taken to produce the transcription.

Normally the process would end with the last word written on the page. Another part of the service can be translating the written transcription into the target language. This works the same as ordinary translation.

The transcription can be used to produce subtitles or you can use the translated transcription as a script for a voiceover. Or you may just require the copy for your own records or for use in a court proceeding for instance.

We can use formats such as CD, DVD, audio cassette tape, vinyl records and VHS video cassettes.
