Centres of Excellence
Wolfestone is partnered with 3 Centres for Excellence in South Wales. Senior staff from Wolfestone regularly lecture at the Universities on the business, project management and entrepreneurial skills that graduates will need when they leave university and enter the commercial world. We are also heavily involved in, and a founder partner of, an innovative project at Swansea University whereby students set up their own mock translation companies and run them as businesses. Wolfestone provides mentoring and shadowing for the key ‘company’ staff and we act as mock clients. This gives the students an insight into real world scenarios and Wolfestone tries to keep these as realistic as possible.
Wolfestone also has a highly developed Internship Programme which offers work tasters, work placements and full internships to students and post graduates from all over the world in areas including translation, marketing, accounts, project management, etc. These are often organised by the Erasmus or Leonardo da Vinci schemes.
Moreover, Wolfestone has been highly active in promoting continuous professional development for our staff and has encouraged the attainment of qualifications through the ILM, CIM, City and Guilds, CMI, etc.

Wolfestone takes the quality of the work we produce extremely seriously, and as such we have partnered with and achieved accreditations with a series of renowned quality associations.
Wolfestone is independently certified with the new British Standard EN 15038. This is an industry-specific standard which covers the unique challenges involved in delivering high quality translation services. We are one of a very few translation companies who are additionally independently certified with ISO 9001:2008. All of our project managers are qualified through the Association of Project Managers. How many other translation companies can say that?
