Wolfestone has major expansion plansWolfestone, the 6th fastest growing company in Wales, has major expansion plans for 2013 after big investment in technology last year. 2012 was a year that saw Wolfestone celebrate St. David’s Day at 10 Downing Street and win 8 prestigious awards. These included the IoD Director of the Year 2012 and the award for People and Skills Development from the Chamber of Commerce. The company has gained major international clients in the last twelve months including Coca-Cola, Panasonic and Aston Martin, and the company has plans to attract more big names in 2013. As part of the process of expanding the global client base Wolfestone has invested heavily in new technology. As digital communications become ever more important, the company is keen to invest where it sees as key growth areas. Integrating with client’s content management system and workflows is a key component of Wolfestone’s expansion project, and 2013 will also see the company launch a 24/7 translation portal. Clients will be able to upload documents, have the project managed by the software, translated by a human translator and receive their translation back electronically – a first for the translation industry. Co-founder and Director Roy Allkin says: “We did very well in 2012, but this is just another step forward, not the finish line. Our mission is to bring the best people, processes and technology together to help companies get a voice in international markets.” The message from Wolfestone is clear. Investing in technology can be costly, but it can help pave the way for long term growth. If the company has invested in the right areas, there is a good chance we will be hearing more about this enterprising Welsh company.
