Wolfestone shortlisted for GBEA Award
July 24, 2019
Wolfestone has been shortlisted in the Entrepreneur’s Team of the Year category at the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur of the Year (GBEA) Awards 2019.
The company is one of 80 finalists across Wales in 12 categories including Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Scale-up Entrepreneur of the Year, and Entrepreneur for Good Award.
To make the shortlist, Wolfestone had to demonstrate, among other things, how its team ‘worked exceptionally well together in order to innovate and support the organisation’.
In a year that has seen the company launch new client services, introduce innovative new technology and open an office in Bucharest, we were able to show that these were projects that involved the hard work of the entire staff.
Second year running
This is the second year in a row that the company has been up for a GBEA award. In 2018 we were shortlisted in the Scale-Up Entrepreneur of the Year category.
Alex Parr, Wolfestone’s Managing Director, said: “To be shortlisted for any GBEA award is an honour but this one is especially satisfying as it acknowledges the excellent synergy of the Wolfestone team rather than any individual.
“There are some great companies on the shortlist and we’re honoured to be amongst them. I look forward to attending the award ceremony in September which promises to be a memorable evening.”
The award ceremony for the Welsh region will take place on the evening of Wednesday September 18th at the Glee Club in Cardiff.
Category winners will then have the chance to attend the national final where they will be pitted against other regional winners. This will take place in London on November 21st.
